Spoleto
Visitors to Spoleto will find it hard to forget historical and artistic sites which are some of the regions most majestic such as the Bridge of Towers (Ponte delle Torri) which links Spoleto with the mountain, a construction more than 200meters long for a height of 80 meters; the Church of St Pietro, with its 13th century facade, subject of numerous photos and postcards; then there is the Cathedral with its mosaics and the Church of St Eufemia. In addition to these rare treasures one finds the Basilica of St Salvatore, the Church of St Gregorio Maggiore, the Roman bridge, the Church of St Domenico, the Church of St Ponziano, the Church of St Giuliano and the Convent of St Francis. Visitors will be struck by the Medieval appearance of Spoleto which has remained practically unchanged by time, thanks to a long period of considerable wealth as the Ducato Longobardo and then as key city of the Papal state. The Festival dei due Mondi which, in the June and July period, transforms Spoleto in to the world Capital of prose, music and dance is not to be missed.

Spello
Spello is not only blessed with a superb geographical position, but is also the home of the greatest number of monuments dating back to the Roman period in Umbria, these including the city walls, Porta Consolare, Porta Urbica, Porta Venere, the theatre, amphitheatre and spas. Ecclesiastical buildings of great importance are also numerous, amongst these are the Church of St Maria Maggiore, the Church of St Claudio, the Church of St Antrea and the Round Church. Then there is the beautiful Piazza della Repubblica with the Palazzo Comunale. Spello is an artistic treasure trove, with magnificent frescos by Pinturicchio, depicting "The Nativity", "The Annunciation" and "The Dispute at the Temple" which can be admired in the Baglioni Chapel of the Church of St Maria Maggiore, as well as other frescos by Perugino. Offering visitors an unsurpassable view, Spello lies on the slopes of Monte Subasio, dominating the Topino valley and the surrounding hillside..

Bevagna
The heart of Bevagna is linked to the Roman era, as can be seen by its position along the Via Flaminia as well as various Imperial ruins such as the Roman theatre dating back to the II century AD, and the remains of mosaics featuring marine animals, probably once part of spa buildings. If the ancient heart of the city was Roman, what most characterizes Bevagna today is without doubt, the legacy of the Medieval period from the gates of the city, such as Porta San Venanzo, and part of the city wall, still perfectly visible. Well worth a visit are the Medieval church of the Madonna of the Snow, the Church of St Silvestro, the Church of St Michael Arch Angel, the gothic Palazzo dei Consoli and the fountain in Piazza Silvestri. Visitors to Bevagna enter a world where the historical roots have been carefully preserved and recreated in various festivals and events popular with tourists; such as the Gaite Market, a re-enactment of life in the middle ages which shows Bevagna divided into four quarters.

Assisi.
Assisi is known throughout the world as the city of St Francis, the monk who spoke to the animals and with God, whose cult has spread across the globe. Linked to the Saint are the Basilica of St Francis, as well as the Eremo of the Prisons and the convent of St. Damian, the place where God spoke to the Monk. As well as these places associated with the saint, there are many other sites which earn Assisi great historical relevance, the Palazzo dei Priori in the Piazza del Comune, the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo and the temple of Minerva. Descending towards the plains below the city, one finds the large Basilica of St. Maria of the Angels, erected to protect the Porziuncola Chapel. The geographical position of Assisi completes the beauty of the place, dominated by Mount Subasio, a natural oasis rich of holm oaks and oak trees. The visitor is struck by the medieval structure, characterized by the long city wall which protects the heart of the ancient Assisi.
